Information Security Consultants

Castellan Information Security is looking for Information Security Consultants to join our team of experts to help us grow and serve our clients.

You will, as an independent consultant, participate in delivery of Castellan projects and services in the Manitoba and Western Canada region.

WHAT TYPE OF WORK WILL YOU BE INVOLVED IN:

Business Impact Assessments

The Castellan Information Security business impact assessment will help organizations understand what they need to protect.

Security Risk Assessments

The Castellan Information Security risk assessment is the first step to determine safeguards needed to secure information systems in any organization. An assessment can enable the information security function to make well-informed decisions.

Compliance Assessments

Compliance assessments will determine whether an organization complies with internal and external regulatory compliance requirements.

Integrated Security Assessments

Integrated security assessment combines data, risk and physical security assessments to provide a comprehensive picture of an organization's security environment.

Vulnerability Assessments

Vulnerability assessment services carefully examines an organization's IT environment to discover any potential weaknesses and vulnerabilities.

Physical Security Assessments

Physical security assessments are a complete physical inspection and evaluation of every aspect of an organization's physical security controls, and the parameters in data centres and offices.

Technical Assessments

The Castellan Information Security technical assessments look at the applicable technologies to ensure they are configured and patched according the organizations standards and recommend improvements.

SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS SHOULD HAVE:

Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science / IT, or equivalent depth and breadth of experience.

Strong knowledge of Information Security leading practices and national / international standards.

• Previous experience in IT security, information security, corporate security, law enforcement, investigations, physical security and security assessments is an asset.

• Relevant professional certifications are an asset (CISSP, CPP, CISM, CISA, CySA, PSP)

• Client Service experience and orientation skills

• Ability to work alone and self-motivation

• Effective interpersonal relationships

• Position is contingent on passing a criminal and credit background check

• Position requires a valid driver's license and Passport

COMPENSATION:

Compensation commensurate with experience.
