The role will develop, test, and maintain organisation wide data reports in support of business and management requirements. This includes writing, coding, testing, and analysing reports.

Requirements:

• College diploma or university degree in computer science, information systems or software engineering, or 5 years experience within the past 7 years working as a Report Writer in a medium to large organization (i.e., an
  the organization that supports at least 250 users).
• Four years experience within the past 6 years in each of the following areas:
  • Relational Database SQL Server 2014 or higher,
  • Data Analysis (Logical and Physical Design),
  • SQL (Stored Procedures, Functions, Queries, Views), and
  • Reporting Services (SQL Server Reporting Services, SSRS);
• Four years experience within the past 6 years developing test cases and test plans.
• Four years experience within the past 6 years with current Internet technologies, including (but not limited to) HTML, JavaScript, XML, REST, SOAP.
• Four years experience within the past 6 years with source code control tools such as (but not limited to) Visual source safe, CVS, SVN, Git, Mercurial, Vault.
• Four years experience within the past 6 years using programming languages including C# .Net, ASP, XML, and MS SQL Server 2014 or higher.
• Four years experience within the past 6 years with SSIS and SSRS.
• Four years experience within the past 6 years using SDLC Methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
• The above experience demonstrates the proposed Consultant's ability to:
  • work directly with users and create and document report specifications,
  • program in MSSQL database T-SQL, and
  • work with technical architect, business analyst and end users to understand requirements and design; and
• Microsoft Net development certification would be advantageous but is not a strict requirement.
