Technical Support Analyst
Are you a customer-centric troubleshooter? The role will be the single point of contact for end users to receive support and maintenance within the PGT's desktop computing environment. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance. The Technical Support Analyst will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via e-mail) in a timely and accurate fashion, provide end-user assistance where required and follows up to ensure that issue has been resolved successfully.
Requirements:
- College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, or 5 years work experience within the past 7 years as a Technical Support Analyst in a Microsoft desktop and Dell environment Five years experience within the past 7 years developing curriculum for adults.
- Four years experience within the past 7 years working in a high-volume call centre that supports a local and remote site.
- Three years experience within the past 5 years working in an environment that supports more than 250 users.
- Four years experience within the past 7 years working with current generic network protocols, operating systems, and standards, including but not limited to TCP/IP, etc.
- Four years experience within the past 7 years working with and supporting Dell desktops, laptops, and other peripheral equipment.
- Three years experience within the past 5 years working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment; and
- The following is also desirable but is not a strict requirement: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) designation.
