Castellan Information Security is pleased to welcome Juan Carlos Mejia Cano to our team. Juan will be stepping into the role of a Senior Information Security Consultant, and has already taken on a project with one of our clients.

Juan brings with him over 16 years of experience in Information Technology and Cyber Security. He has worked in sectors such as Financial Services, Banking, eCommerce, Telecommunications, and Consulting. Juan's experience includes developing and maintaining enterprise-wide Information Security Programs supported by industry best practices and frameworks such as ISO27001, PCI-DSS, OWASP, ITIL and CIS. He is a SME for Information Security aspects such as developing and maintaining global and regional strategies, governance structure/processes/procedures, regulatory and compliance controls, and security maturity models. Juan is a specialist in ethical hacking and penetration testing for applications and infrastructure. Juan currently holds security certifications such as Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), GIAC Exploit Researcher and Advanced Penetration Tester (GXPN), Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE), and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
